Tags are an essential part of providing support for Carl-bot. They allow you give detailed answers quickly and easily.

## Guiding support

These tags help guide users to properly use the support channels.

| Tag name                    | Purpose                                                              |
| --------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| ask, asktoask, dontasktoask | Just ask the question, don't ask if you can ask                      |
| basic, faq                  | Your answer can be found in the FAQ or documentation                 |
| elab, elaborate             | Give more information                                                |
| new                         | Read the rules. Your answer can be found in the FAQ or documentation |
| patience, volunteers        | Help is provided by volunteers. Be patient                           |
| pingme                      | Don't say "ping me when you answer"                                  |
| replyping                   | Don't ping when replying                                             |
| support                     | Don't say "it's not working" and provide screenshots                 |
| ss, screenshot              | Take a screenshot of your attempt.                                   |
| tagq                        | Things to answer for getting help with tags/triggers                 |
| wc                          | You are in the wrong channel                                         |
| topic                       | Show the channel's topic                                             |

These tags show information on bugs with Carl bot, as well as how users can solve certain issues.

| killcom  | Removed commands list.        | Also in #known-issues                                                 |
| silent   | If a command isn't responding | Use a command name as an argument to show that instead of `[command]` |

| setup         | Link to setup tag                                        |
| token         | Someone thinks Carl's token was leaked                   |
| hacked        | Someone thinks Carl was hacked                           |
| hex           | Hex code info                                            |
| pfp, selfhost | Carl cannot be self hosted and you cannot change the pfp |
| banned        | CBH has no control over other server's moderation        |
| syntax        | Explains command syntax                                  |
